My recent work centers on transformation, care, and the quiet resilience that follows trauma. Much of my personal practice responds to my own experience of sexual violence, using materials, layering, and gesture to process pain and reclaim autonomy through creation. From this deeply personal place, I’ve begun The Collective Healing Project—a collaborative artwork inviting other survivors to contribute small, symbolic materials such as fabric, thread, or textiles. Together, these contributions form a shared visual language of endurance, empathy, and renewal. For both myself and participants, the act of making becomes a cathartic and connective experience—turning what was once harm into something whole, grounded, and healing.
